The HSU is currently in dispute with Mid North Coast Local Health District regarding the planned relocation of physiotherapy outpatient services from Wauchope Hospital to Port Macquarie Base Hospital. 

On Friday 26 July, a disputes resolution meeting was held. HSU delegates presented an argument to maintain the outpatient services at Wauchope based on current staffing levels, patient and community care.

MNCLHD has now responded to members but has unfortunately failed to address members’ concerns. You can read the correspondence at this link.
