SWSLHD Mental Health Service proposed changes

Published December 20, 2024
South Western Sydney Local Health District has advised the HSU of a proposed change to the Adult Community Mental Health Teams within the District’s Liverpool/Fairfield Community Mental Health Service.
The proposed changes include the establishment of Mental Health Assertive Treatment Teams for the Liverpool and Fairfield Community Mental Health Service.
SWSLHD says the development of assertive treatment capability is an identified strategic objective of the Mental Health Service. The service has an assertive treatment team in Macarthur and Bankstown, but not in the Liverpool/Fairfield Local Government Areas.
The District is conducting a meeting with employees to discuss the proposed changes on 14 January 2025 at 2pm, and consultation on the proposed changes will be open for two weeks from the date of the meeting.
