Body Worn Camera trial update

Dear Member,
The NSW government is in the process of rolling out Body Worn Cameras for security staff to curb violence and aggression in public hospitals.
The trial has started in Royal North Shore Hospital and will be rolled out to 14 other participating hospitals over the coming months.

The cameras will not be continually recording and will only be activated by security staff when confronting violent or aggressive individuals.
The security footage from the cameras will be held by the Ministry of Health and not used for allegations of misconduct.
