St Agnes Parish’s unacceptable EA offer: Tell them it’s not good enough!

Dear Member,
Bargaining for your new enterprise agreement is ongoing, but unfortunately, St Agnes’ Parish is refusing to accept your key claims around securing better wages and conditions for all workers.
Current Wage Offer
St Agnes’ wage offer is unacceptable – an insulting 2.7 per cent increase for direct care staff – that works out to be just 65 cents per hour!
Additionally, many classifications including non-direct care staff will have no guaranteed pay rises.
This offer does not reflect the challenging and complex job you do every day. And it’s not good enough!
Work Value Case increases
Your employer is also seeking to remove a clause in the new agreement that would put any wage increase gained from the Stage 3 Work Value Case into jeopardy.
Under the proposal, management are not committing to pass on any government funding - taxpayers’ money - for work value increases.
Your Voice Matters
Your bargaining representatives are pushing management to put this substandard EA to a vote, allowing you to vote NO and demand a better deal!
