Port Macquarie Safe Haven: Proposed changes to location and operational hours

Dear Member,

Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) has informed the HSU of a proposed change to the operating hours of Safe Haven, Port Macquarie.

The district intends to bring the hours of operation forward by two hours, meaning the service will operate from 11am to 7.30pm Thursday to Sunday. The current hours of operation are 1pm to 9:30pm Thursday to Sunday.

The district is conducting a staff consultation meeting on Thursday, 14 November at 4.30pm at Community Mental Health, Port Base Hospital. An HSU official will be dialling into this meeting to ensure members’ concerns are heard and amplified.
