Proposed restructure of SNSWLHD Patient Flow Unit rostering

Dear Member,
Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has informed the HSU of a proposed change to rostering for both the Nurse Coordinators and Booking and Scheduling Officers within the Patient Transport Service and District Patient Flow Unit.
SNSWLHD has advised the HSU the District Patient Flow Unit (DPFU) has been established to provide a 24/7 service and will be staffed by the Patient Transport Hub staff, including Nurse Coordinators and Booking and Scheduling Officers.
The district proposes the following roster changes:
Nurse Coordinator
- two shifts, seven days a week
- 0700hrs to 1530hrs and 1400hrs to 2230hrs
- On-call service 2230hrs to 0700hrs
Scheduling and Dispatch Officer
- One shift, seven days a week
- Monday to Friday 0730hrs to 1930hrs
- Saturday Sunday 0800 to 1630
- nil on-call.
