NSLHD: Trial of extended shift coverage, Hornsby Hospital PLOs
-
Published June 5, 2024
The HSU has received correspondence from Northern Sydney Local Health District about a trial of extended shift times coverage for Patient Liaison Officers at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
The trial is to extend coverage from 5 to 6 days for a 3-month period.
NSLHD has said they are ‘confident that the trial will be successful’ and expect it to ‘establish the position permanently based on outcome’. They have also stated there is no impact on the FTE establishment for PLOs.
