Operations Assistants took on Nepean Blue Mountains LHD this morning at the Industrial Relations Commission.

OAs are seeking backpay for the infectious cleaning allowance from 2018-2022. While other LHDs have settled this matter in a reasonable manner by negotiations, OAs at Nepean have had to force the District to the Commission before seeing ANY offers on the table to resolve the dispute.

While no significant progress was made this morning, the HSU and District are continuing talks to try to reach an agreement.

Members are invited to an update meeting at 4:30pm Thursday 11 July to discuss the progress of the dispute and determine next steps.
