Manning Base Hospital: HSU disputes changes without consultation
-
Published June 28, 2024
HealthShare NSW has advised the HSU of their proposal to discontinue part of the COVID funding designated for additional morning cleaning shifts within the emergency department (ED) at Manning Base Hospital, effective from 1 July 2024.
After intervention from the HSU on Friday 28 June, HealthShare has been forced to abide by the status quo while they undertake genuine consultation with HSU members about their proposed changes. The proposed trial due to commence 1 July 2024 has been postponed until consultation concludes.
