Published October 25, 2024
HealthShare NSW has advised the HSU of the proposed temporary relocation of Ryde Hospital Food Services Kitchen.
HealthShare states that the relocation is necessary due to the upcoming site redevelopment, which is scheduled to begin in mid-February 2025. As part of the redevelopment plan, the Food Services Kitchen will be addressed in stage one, requiring Food Services to temporarily relocate while the new kitchen is under construction.
HealthShare has advised the HSU they will commence consultation with affected staff the week commencing 11 November.
No further details have been provided yet, such as the location of the new kitchen or possible impacts on staff.
