Far West Local Health District: Review of rostering and admin functions, Broken Hill

Dear Member,

Far West Local Health District has advised the HSU of its intention to undertake a review of rostering and administrative functions at Broken Hill Hospital Service.

The HSU will provide affected members with more information as the district makes it available, but at this time, no formal consultation documents have been provided.

The district has so far advised the HSU that:

  • Impacted staff will be receiving communication about a review/rostering.
  • A review is occurring of the operating model to improve effectiveness of the rostering and administration functions. The review will support BHHS to foster a workplace environment that empowers leadership to allocate time more judiciously, thereby advancing both clinical and strategic objectives.
  • Staff will have the opportunity to consult by means of surveys, workshops and consultation.

What do you think?

It is important for union members to lead this discussion. How will this affect you?
