Dear Member,

HSU members have achieved a massive win at Mid North Coast Cancer Institutes, with the district agreeing to a new structure and the introduction of two administration officer Level 6 (site-specific) roles, and an overarching district-level health manager Level 2 role.

This win was achieved after a year of consultation and robust discussions between members and the district.

HSU members will finally be reporting to an administration manager and have the opportunity to progress their careers!

None of this would have been achieved without the solidarity of members sticking together and demanding better working conditions from management.

The HSU met with members on Monday, 12 August to gain a position from the membership in response to the proposed new positions. HSU members voted unanimously to proceed with the proposal.
