RSL Lifecare Arthur Blackburn: Know your rights!

Some HSU members at RSL Lifecare Arthur Blackburn have raised concerns they are STILL waiting to be recognised and paid accordingly for completing their Certificate III.

Members have also raised concerns around ensuring they are paid for completing mandatory online training.

It’s important members know your rights! If you believe you are receiving the incorrect rate since completing your Cert III, first ensure your certificate has been properly uploaded in your work ‘landing page’.

If the paperwork has been properly uploaded and you’re still receiving the wrong rate, contact your manager ASAP!

RSL Lifecare management has confirmed online training should be completed during worktime. When this is not possible, staff have the option to request additional rostered time to complete the training. Workers can also access AKUNA at home and allotted time for each course on timesheets.

It’s important you are paid for completing mandatory online training – don’t complete it out of work hours!
