All HSU members at Warrigal are invited to join a special union meeting next Tuesday 17 May at 4:30pm to discuss our claims for the new enterprise agreement – see details below.

Union members have spoken loud and clear in our HSU bargaining survey. Members are ready to campaign for improvements to our Warrigal enterprise agreement, including:

• Significantly better wages – At least 5% per year
• Improved staffing levels – To better care for our residents
• More secure work – Including contracts that reflect actual hours and shifts worked
• Fairer allowances – Including fair pay for undertaking ‘buddy shifts’

A draft log of claims for HSU members to review can be found at this link. Our log of claims is a list of all the things we want to see improved in our new enterprise agreement.

All members are then encouraged to attend a special HSU meeting next Tuesday 17 May at 4:30pm to discuss and agree on our HSU claims.

Please review the attached draft claims and then come along to our union meeting on Tuesday to share your feedback with other members. Once agreed collectively by members, we will then serve our claims on Warrigal management.
