As you are aware a trial for Security Officers was expected to finish on 18 December 2022 at Brookvale Community Health Centre.

The HSU made firm requests for Security Officers to remain in place due to a significant number of incidents and safety concerns. We have received a commitment from the District that the trial will continue until 29 January 2023 and NSLHD is currently undertaking a WHS Risk Assessment to determine strategies.

The HSU will meet with the District for a Union Specific Consultative Meeting (USCC) in mid January. Anyone that is currently taking part in this trial and would like to be involved in the USCC meeting as a HSU member representative, please contact your Organiser Kym Morgan [E-Mail not displayed]
