The NSW public health system is world leading and something everyone should be grateful for in their time of need. It’s HSU members who keep this system running every single day.

Our membership is made up of health workers who perform a range of diverse roles throughout any hospital and the community, from domestic and support services, administration and security, to oral health, pathology, mental health and allied health. Every worker plays a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

HSU members are protected at work. As a member, you will also have the union on your side to support, represent, advocate and campaign for better standards, improved wages and working conditions. We fight to ensure that the interests of health workers are prioritised ahead of budget cuts and government bureaucracy.
