Your HSU committee at Wyong Hospital has set the AGM for Thursday 9th February at 12:30pm in staff cafeteria courtyard.

You can view the official notice here. Also on the notice is the returning officer’s details. Nomination forms are to be filled in completely and returned to the returning officer seven days before the AGM via email.

There will also be a BBQ run by your committee and your organiser held that day. We encourage all eligible members to attend the AGM. A successful union runs on the back of active membership in the workplace.

We’ve seen some great activity from our members at Wyong over the past 12 months. Pharmacy and Medical Imaging members took a stand against their restructure proposals. PSA members united over unsafe transfer proposals. We’ve also seen our HealthShare members have started action towards better rostering. All of these improvements are not possible without member participation.

All departments are strongly encouraged to consider nominating a fellow member or members to be on the committee. All positions will be declared vacant on the day by the returning officer. Every department should have at least one delegate they can turn to for support. Let’s keep achieving good things together. Your organiser Matt Ramsay and the HSU will support you along the way.
