The HSU recently met with NNSWLHD about members’ concerns over the new Allied Health Director role in Mental Health, which Psychologists are not permitted to apply for.

We have informed management that members have passed a resolution stating industrial action will be taken if this is not rectified.

The LHD has provided a recently conducted review into the alleged award classification “issues” underlying their inability to classify this role under the Psychologist award.
