Last week, ADHSU delegates secured permanent positions for casual paramedics who have been working constant hours for several months.

Throughout the negotiations, ADHSU delegates reminded NSWA of the shortage of paramedics in NSW, and that the demand is constantly growing.

Finally, NSWA has seen the writing on the wall, and is now offering full-time permanent contracts to all eligible casual paramedics.

NSWA have informed ADHSU delegates today that all eligible casuals should expect to be contacted with an offer to convert to full-time permanent employment in the next few days.
