As you would be aware, the HSU has been negotiating with Arcare management for several months about your new enterprise agreement.

We are pushing hard for a fair pay increase for all staff and improvements to key conditions at work.

While negotiations were progressing well, things have stalled lately and Arcare management has been slow to provide the HSU with an updated response following our last meeting.

The HSU has now written to Arcare management, calling for a meeting to be held in the new year so that we can progress negotiations.

When we meet with management, the HSU will be calling on Arcare to pay all employees a fair pay increase and for Arcare to back date the pay increase to 1 July 2021.

Members at Arcare have been waiting too long for a pay increase and it’s time for Arcare to put their offer to staff.
