Following the initial newsletter sent to members on 24 October regarding the cessation of refuse allowance for ‘ineligible staff’, HSU representatives immediately contacted HealthShare to seek clarity and intercede before the payment was stopped.

HealthShare has now agreed to continue payment of the allowance while consultation with the HSU is ongoing. You can view their correspondence at this link.

Affected HSU members will continue to receive updates on this issue as negotiations proceed.
