TFR fight starts now

It’s time to start the fight for Taxpayer Funded Rosters!
NSW paramedics continue to be overworked, and NSW communities continue to receive reduced coverage, because of NSWA’s blatant refusal to roster on the number of paramedics that our communities pay for.
ADHSU delegates have tried to enforce TFRs through the Industrial Relations Commission, but the community demand is too urgent and the concessions that NSWA executive are willing to give are too slight. Members can no longer tolerate having some of the worst response times in the country, having no semblance of breaks or fatigue management, and being punted away from our stations!
This is why ADHSU members have voted to take the battle for TFRs to the streets. They cannot wait to settle for less in the courts as demand for emergency care keeps growing. Starting the first morning shift this Friday, indefinitely, ADHSU paramedics across NSW will begin taking industrial action.
Remember your delegates are always there to support you and to continue the fight members have already been waging. Keep filling out the ‘missed cribs and OT’ and ‘reporting when your station is down’ posters and handing out the TFR explainer/patient response cards to affected patients.
With last year’s registration boycott, ADHSU members have already shown that when they stand together, they stand strong. Let’s make sure to remind NSWA that members will never stop using our unity to demand a better ambulance service for everyone!
