Pathology North Tamworth are proposing changes to rosters and routes for the courier service. After reviewing the initial proposal, the HSU requested clarification on several items. • Designated breaks at other sites on weekends and public holidays
  Management have advised that meal rooms will be made available should the courier driver wish to use them.
•  Route 5 Meal break at Murrurundi has no time allocated for a pickup. Members’ mealtime will be impacted.
  This has been amended in the new run to allow for the meal break and the pickup.
• What will be the makeup of staff?
  Currently there is only 1 full time driver and 2 part time. The new proposal will see an increase of full time hours. The new structure will have 3 full time, 2 part time and casuals will be only as required such as leave relief.

The HSU has requested a review period for the changes. As we are entering a down time, we have requested the review period to stretch between two meetings so the service can capture normal activity and traffic conditions after the holiday period ends.
