South Western Sydney Local Health District has advised the HSU of a proposal to change the Allied Health structure within the Mental Health Service of SWSLHD.

The District proposes to establish a Clinical Psychology Head of Department for Mental Health Services (Senior Clinical Psychologist) and to realign reporting lines for inpatient mental health Clinical Psychology positions.

The realignment of the inpatient Clinical Psychologist positions to the Clinical Psychology Head of Department would result in a change in reporting lines for these positions. The proposed date of the change is 9 October 2024.
