South Eastern Sydney Local Health District has informed the HSU of the removal of the weekend E1 Wardsperson 1500-2330 shift at The Sutherland Hospital.

The District claims Wardspersons were allocated FTE during the COVID pandemic response, and this additional FTE was not permanently funded. The District states they are deleting this shift based on the overall lower activity in the facility during this time.
