South Eastern Sydney Local Health District has advised the HSU of proposed changes within the SESLHD Mental Health Service, particularly at The Sutherland Hospital Mental Health Service (TSHMHS) and Garrawarra MH Rehabilitation Service.

The District states that Garrawarra MH Rehabilitation will not be opening as proposed, and the TSHMHS Rehab Inpatient Unit will continue to operate within its current capacity of 5 beds.

The TSHMHS Rehab Inpatient Unit will undergo a staffing review.

The District has provided no further information at this time.
