The HSU appeared in the NSW Industrial Relations Commission yesterday in relation to the proposed Health Equity, Promotion and Prevention Service restructure. The Commission has granted a further 14 days of consultation in order to give HSU members time to read the consultation paper, consider the impact of the proposed changes, and submit feedback.

The Commission also indicated the LHD must halt all recruitment and write to all staff within 48 who have been issued affected letters to advise the consultation has been extended.
