The Union is in dispute with the Ministry of Health, NSW Health Pathology, and Sydney Children’s Hospital Network about properly paying workers who have been classified as Technical Officers while holding a degree and undertaking scientific work.

If you are (or have been) classified as a Technical Officer while holding a degree and undertaking scientific work in pathology you may have been underpaid.

The dispute is currently before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission and is likely to proceed to a hearing in relation to some members. At this stage, you will not be named or need to participate in the hearing. If that is required, you will be notified and have the option to opt out of the process.
