The HSU has received correspondence from Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network about a proposed reporting line change for the Biomedical Engineering Department at the Childrens Hospital at Westmead.

This change follow the recent restructure of Clinical Operations at SCHN. Management want to change the reporting line from Clinical Stream Director – Surgery to CHW Director of Clinical Operations. They say this is intended to ‘enhance alignment between clinical services and operational heads’.
