The HSU has received correspondence from Mid North Coast Local Health District about a proposed realignment of the Administration Support Role Waitlist Coordination position at Wauchope District Memorial Hospital.

Under the proposed change, this role which currently sits within Wauchope Hospital peri-operative staff would be transferred to the Port Macquarie Base Hospital surgical bookings staff.

MNCLHD claims the purpose of this move is to ‘consolidate the capability and skillset of surgical bookings to promote a centralised network-based model’.
