Understandably, the latest COVID outbreak has caused some anxiety among PTO membership.

As a result, HSU members have raised a number of questions and issues regarding the latest COVID outbreak in NSW.

HSU Delegates have had meetings with management this week to discuss some of these issues, including the need for concise and effective communication regarding PPE protocols, how to keep each other and patients safe from cross-infection as the number of COVID positive patients rises, and cleaning of vehicles.

Some of these issues have been resolved, while others still require further communication from HealthShare as the situation develops.

There will be a member meeting for all HSU PTS members tomorrow (15th July) at 13:30 to hear your questions and concerns and figure out what to do about them as a collective.
