Psychology Award Claims: Our Time Is Now!

HSU Psychology members have waited long enough for new and modern Awards which recognise the complexity of our work, and the understaffing and poor pay which is bleeding skilled professionals to other states or the NDIS.

Now is our time to change this situation. HSU Psychology Delegates have worked tirelessly to develop a new Award which creates new conditions, classifications and improved pay to attract and retain staff.

HSU Psychology Delegates are ready to present these claims to members for feedback. All HSU Psychology members are invited to attend a mass meeting on December 10 at the following times. Please register early as this is required for attendance.

This is an incredibly important moment for Psychology. After 15 years of being underpaid and overworked, now is our time! We can only win with all Psychology members and all other Allied Health members working together and actively fighting for the changes you want to see.

HSU Psychology Delegates will present the following information:

  • The proposed Award structure included amalgamated Award for Allied Health.
  • Proposed profession specific Award claims.
  • Proposed new HSU Psychology classifications.
  • Proposed new HSU Psychology pay claims.
