The Ministry of Health is conducting a review into the National Health Law which regulates protected titles.

HSU members unconditionally support the need for clear regulation to protect patients and the community. However, there are ongoing concerns about an Act which fails to make the wellbeing, support, and rehabilitation of Practitioners an object within the legislation.
