Estia Health have recently advised HSU members that management are proposing changes to role titles, annualised wages, and time recording.

The proposals include:

  1. Changing the ‘Cleaner and Laundry Attendant’ title to ‘Housekeeper’ and Changing the ‘Executive Chef/ Head Cook title to ‘Head Chef’.
  2. Transferring any enterprise agreement covered employees who are contracted on an annualised wage to hourly rates based on their current earnings.
  3. Introducing a clock-in and clock-out process on the Humanforce platform.

A copy of the memo is attached at this link.

Estia Health management have put in writing to HSU members that no employee will be left disadvantaged by these changes.
