Published July 22, 2024
Dear Member,
Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) has advised the HSU of Port Macquarie Base Hospital’s plan to undertake a review of the Medical Assessment Unit Model of Care.
MNCLHD states that following a recent review of the patient flow key performance indicators of PMBH and the MAU, it has established a review is required to ensure the structure still supports the most efficient and effective structure to support patients within the community.
Once a review is conducted, MNCLHD will be commencing a staff consultation process to discuss proposed changes with the team.
