Dear Member,
Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) has advised the HSU of two new services within the District’s Child Youth and Family (CYF) Health Service.
NSLHD has received funding to establish the following new Child and Family Health Services:
- Sustaining NSW Families (SNF) – a permanently funded sustained home visiting program for families experiencing psychosocial stressors during pregnancy, and
- Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks in Preschools Program – a partnership with NSW Early Education aimed to screen 4-year-old children to identify child health and developmental support needs and link them to appropriate support.
