TOTALLY SEPARATE TO THE ONGOING CAMPAIGN FOR PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION
This year’s pay rise (again not connected to professional pay).
The NSW government has made an offer to ADHSU members on paramedic and control centre officer awards (PARAMEDICS AND CONTROL CENTRE OFFICERS (STATE) AWARD 2022 & OPERATIONAL AMBULANCE MANAGERS (STATE) AWARD 2022) of a 4% increase backdated to July 1.
Salary packaging
While the government has made a pre-election promise to stop stealing 50% of HSU-covered health worker salary packaging benefits, they have only offered to stop stealing 10% this year (backdated to July 1). This means you would receive 60% of your salary packaging tax benefits. When you vote, you will also be asked whether to accept this or to continue industrial action to get to 100% salary packaging. Note this offer is only for HSU-covered classifications across the health system.
All financial members under the Paramedic and Control Centre Officer and the Operational Ambulance Managers award should take a moment to vote on the above offers by following this link: Vote here
Voting closes 1200 Friday 28 July 2023.
