Last week representatives from your Union met with senior management of Garden Village. The meeting was productive and management have agreed ‘in principle’ to begin the bargaining process for a new enterprise agreement.

This is a very positive outcome and was only possible because of the hard work and determination of HSU delegates and members on site. Congratulations to everyone who has been actively involved!

Once formal notification that bargaining is commencing is received, all HSU members will be invited to have a say in what you’d like to see in the new agreement. Union members will be engaged throughout the process and we will make decisions collectively.

Bargaining is a democratic process and members will have the final say on whether the agreement is accepted or not. The power is in your hands.
