The HSU has received correspondence from NSW Health Pathology about the proposed introduction of a ‘Natural Causes Pathway’ to more efficiently process natural cause deaths in Forensic Medicine.

NSWHP says this will improve the service to bereaved families, and is proposing to resource the Pathway with an additional 1.6 FTE Career Medical Officers and an additional 0.3 FTE Clinical Nurse Consultant.
