NSWA is one organisation, and without the hard work of both On Road and Control staff, the Service would collapse. For so long, the executive has relied on driving a wedge between HSU members to create conflict when action happens. Not anymore.

HSU members in Control are angry. They are sick of not having their needs met and not having their demands heard at countless JCCs. On top of that, the Minns government are not even meeting their promise to scrap the cap and open up awards for negotiation.

Delegates and members from Control Centres across the state have met several times over the last week to discuss issues they face and a plan to improve working conditions. The most pressing issue is winning this year’s pay increase of 6.5%.
