Northcott: Introduction of new technology

HSU representatives have been contacted by Northcott with a proposal to introduce new technology to staff – a new phone app named Skedulo. This technology is intended to completely replace Carelink and is currently being trialled in Ballina & the ACT.

A date for the replacement to take place hasn’t yet been provided, but the HSU has requested this information.

Northcott has advised that when using Skedulo, all client notes must be done on the phone app. Your HSU delegates have raised concerns that this will remove the ability to write client notes on a computer, and that smaller devices like smartphones may not be suitable for writing client notes.

Northcott has responded that they will handle issues and objections as they arise. We urge any members who are concerned about these changes or have participated in the trial to send your feedback to your HSU organiser Emmett Gray on 0499 919 355 or at [E-Mail not displayed].

Do you know someone who isn’t a member of the HSU? Send them this email and make sure they have their say. Being a member of the HSU means there’s always someone by your side, fighting for your rights.
