In May, proposed changes for JHH Patient Support Services were announced, including the amalgamation of cleaners and bedmaker duties in the afternoon (see initial HSU newsletter here). So far, two Staff Consultative Committee (SCC) meetings have been held to discuss this proposal, with HSU and management representatives in attendance.

In the second set of minutes, you’ll see there is a delay in getting the phones, so the full model is not being implemented yet. Stage 1 will be implemented in the near future, but the HSU is still awaiting the finer details of this proposal.
