In March this year, HSU members expressed serious concerns about the sharing of information following NNSWLHD’s announcement of the closing of Murwillumbah Hospital Inpatient Surgical Department.

These issues were related to the NSW Minister for Health and Regional Health, Ryan Park MP during discussions with the HSU. Minister Park heard that HSU members held grave concerns and undertook to provide members with an update on the future of the hospital.
