At yesterday’s second USCC meeting, HSU representatives and delegates advocated strongly for the maintenance of the YAF Clinical Lead role that is currently vacant. The HSU called for the NNSWLHD to recruit to the position as well as recruiting to the newly created (but yet to be graded) Community Team Manager role. Management are not agreeing to the recruitment of the Clinical Lead Role.
Management have also issued a CAMHS Steering Committee Terms of Reference, which you can read here. At yesterday’s meeting, the HSU called for additional members be added from both YAPS and YAF team to reflect one member of the committee from each site. Management have agreed in principle to the HSU’s position.
Management have sent position descriptions sent for positions that have been created and subsequently recruited, which you can read here, here and here.
The HSU is seeking feedback from members in the YAF team regarding the deletion of the Clinical Lead position without consultation by Northern NSW LHD. We also want to hear your feedback on the Terms of Reference for the proposed CAMHS Steering Committee. Please email HSU Organiser [E-Mail not displayed] with your feedback.
It’s never been more important to be a part of your Union. If you know someone who is not yet an HSU member, encourage them to join today and have their say. New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
