The Health Services Union has been contacted by members who are reporting they have been stood down without pay. The explanation given by management is that the discussion is related to the recent COVID outbreak in the Kempsey LGA. This is not consistent with any current public health order and as such, if you have contracted hours, you must be paid for those hours.
