Metro crossing sector lines bans - IRC Update

Yesterday, ADHSU delegates were called into the Industrial Relations Commission by the Health Secretary in relation to the metropolitan members ban on cross sector boundary staff movements.
Members continue to raise concerns about their safety and service delivery to the community, due to the unagreed deployment model of Metro PAR.
This system is not working and continues to put paramedics and patients at risk.
The Commission recommended that ADHSU members lift the bans relating to cross sector boundary movements (this doesn’t include ICPs). The recommendation is only until 4 April 2022.
ADHSU delegates agreed to observe the recommendation, but in turn demanded serious consultation and high-level discussions with NSWA executives on the issues related to Metro PAR deployments.
If these meetings don’t result in any real and meaningful progress, ADHSU delegates will consider whether it is necessary to put the bans back on after 4 April 2022.
