The HSU Medical Physicist Industrial Advisory Committee has been working to identify key issues impacting the profession. The Committee has developed proposals to improve working conditions and professional outcomes.

A key issue identified is inconsistency and lack of clarity around the progression committee.

HSU members on the Medical Physicist Industrial Advisory Committee have also identified the below issues:

• Accessibility of progression committee.
• Inconsistency and inequity of progression committee.
• Uncertainty of the status of regrades and transferability.
• Lack of information and clear process for making an application.
• Progression criteria used to assess applicants.

 HSU Medical Physicist Members are invited to join a State-wide Zoom meeting to discuss these issues and endorse solutions.
