Yesterday, a very distressing incident occurred at Manning Base Hospital.

Health workers assist people at their most vulnerable. But they need to receive assistance too.

It’s very important that HSU members are able to access support at a time like this. If you feel that you would like to speak to someone, you can talk to your direct line manager about accessing the EAP service.

The HSU has spoken to both HNELHD and HealthShare to ask what the employers are doing to support workers following this incident. The response will be shared with members when received.
