Your Union continues to advocate for members at Maitland Hospital around the issue of understaffing. Following industrial action in February 2022, your union has been meeting with the hospital executive around these matters.

Recently, staffing for Clinical Support Officers (CSOs) was presented to the HSU. The information provided shows where the proposed increased staffing will be allocated. You can view the document supplied by management at this link.

Discussions also have also been taking place around workloads for Wardspersons. The District has provided your Union with the current duties lists for these positions, available at this link.
