At a recent meeting about the redevelopment of Liverpool Hospital, your employer advised they intend to pursue an open-market tender process for the renal satellite service at Liverpool Hospital – an approach which could lead to the privatisation or outsourcing of this service.

The HSU does not support the privatisation or outsourcing of services in the public health system.

A further meeting with your employer is scheduled for May 31. Following this meeting, your union will arrange a series of members meetings to discuss the outcomes and will provide a further update via newsletter.
